Replacing a pane of glass in the front door
Howard responded quickly to my inquiry and came to look at the door. He arrived with co-worker David and they were both very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the work that needed doing. The bonus was that they already had glass for the job in their van and after we decided what to go with they had the glass replaced inside 20mins. They even reinforced the existing panes after they saw that they were slightly loose. Excellent service, couldn’t ask for more, it’s not usual to be happy to part with money - but in this case we definitely were.

Replaced a window pane with a curved edge and repaired a sash window
Brilliant - it was one of the easiest repairs I’ve ever had done. I texted Howard and he was there the next day. Very pleasant to deal with. It’s clear he really knows his stuff. Did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend. Reasonable price.

Replacement of double glazed kitchen skylights
Howard did a glass repair job for us a couple of years ago and we were impressed by his attention to detail and professionalism. When we had a bigger job recently to replace two large double glazed skylights in our kitchen extension pitched roof, he gave a very detailed specification and a fixed price quotation. As a large piece of work, we looked at other suppliers, but Howard stood out for quality and competitiveness. Howard and team did the job efficiently and quickly, they were on time, they cleaned up, they took great care to avoid breaking any roof slates, and the new units look great.

To help open heavy wooden front door because the locking system was stuck
Howard did a great job. He kept me informed about the time he would arrive so communication skills excellent. He is very knowledgeable and managed to open the door. He advised me on how to keep the lock working.

Double glazed glass replacement for sash windows; restore timber frame, beading and crossbar pattern
My front facing double glazed wooden sash windows had badly deteriorated over time and some of the glass had developed cracks after trying to redecorate. It got to the point where I assumed I would be having to replace everything at significant cost. Howard had a look at the problems and advised that he would be able to replace the broken panes and restore the windows to looking new at a significantly reduced cost compared to a full replacement. He meticulously replaced the glass, matching the beading and crossbar patterns, and in general delivered excellent workmanship. Highly recommended!

Replacement of Double Glazed Units and Damaged Porch and Window Panes
We would never have found the exceptional Howard had we not been let down by another glazier. Howard did a fantastic job to a very high standard. Throughout the process, he was responsive and arrived when he said he would. Clearly, he prides himself on the quality of his work. Howard and his colleague, Dave, both worked flat out for the best part of 10 hours, remaining cheerful the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble. We would wholeheartedly recommend Howard and would definitely use him on any future glazing work. Reliable, tidy, friendly, great attention to detail and competitive.
